JUSTIN HENLEY

Director & Founder

Justin Henley is a filmmaker and founder of Zandr House Studios, based in St. Louis.

His first significant credit came as a story co-writer alongside director David Kirkman on UNDERNEATH: Children of the Sun, an independent science-fiction feature that premiered Christmas Day 2025 and has since surpassed 805,000 views on YouTube. He also co-produced one track on the film's original soundtrack.

His debut documentary, Stone Feather, follows members of an experimental underground music collective in St. Louis, exploring how adversity is transformed into the art that carries them forward. The film screened across multiple festivals—selected by six, nominated in two, and a finalist in two others.

In 2024 he launched A Weekend With, a documentary series built around one idea — capturing someone’s world through both conversation and observation. The premiere episode, Die On Empty, is on YouTube now.

ZANDR HOUSE STUDIOS

Zandr House is a film studio built on a simple truth: stories don’t just inform — they settle into you. They shape how you see the world before you’ve had a chance to decide whether you agree.

We create documentary and narrative films. Every project is approached with care, discipline, and a genuine commitment to the people and places we step into.

Stories that earn trust. Work that creates access. Relationships that extend beyond a single project.

Master the craft. Create with intention. Move with the right people. Trust the process.

Currently in production.
